Ive been finding decent numbers of largemouth lately on pool 2. Ive been fishing grey cloud side channel and the mouth where it connects to the main channel. Daytime has been okay with the best action coming half hour before dark. Plastics and and shallow diving crankbaits or even a slip bobber with live bait have all taken bass. They have been close to shore and sometimes right on shore. Seeing some smallies as well but mostly largemouth.

I apollogize for crappy pictures.
No need for an apology, there good pics! Very nice fish!
P.S. Nice paint jobs you do on your jigs. Neat idea with flattening out the jig head.
Take Care and Tight Lines!!
KevinOctober 5, 2012 at 5:46 pm #1103248Thanks. A few taps with a hammer to unpainted jigheads to flatten them out a little bit lets me hold in current with less weight. And the jig has faster action when jigged. Havent done alot but they seem to work. As for the pictures i dont know how to make them not come up sideways.
