That white stuff on the trunk and branches just showed up in the last 3 days.
September 1, 2021 at 11:39 am #2058053Looks like apple powder mildew. Need to treat it so it doesn’t come back next year.
Sulfur, Topsin M, and Pristine are some of the fungicides that work. Google apple powder mildew and you’ll get a lot Of solutions. It needs multiple treatments to kill it, so plan accordingly

September 2, 2021 at 12:13 pm #2058314It’s called Powdery Mildew. Usually shows up after a heavy rain period. Shouldn’t cause an issue but you can treat it/prevent it, just do some research and figure out your best plan.
September 2, 2021 at 12:31 pm #2058318We use a fungicide called Kocide to treat powdery mildew in our pumpkin and squash fields. It will prevent the spread and control but not eliminate what is present.
