Rapala R12® Heavy-Duty Lithium Fillet Knife Combo

Seems pricey (on sale at a few places), but if it lasts … can be part of my upgrade everything before I retire plan.

It is an awesome knife. I would also recommend a yearly membership to the NPAA for the members discount programs. $100/year gets you access to many companies, Rapala included. Price with member discount is $110…just FYI.

They are slick. My buddy guides on Lake Superior and has been using one for a while, works great!

Anyone else think this was going to be about survey equipment?

I decided to upgrade much of my outdoor equipment; better quality rods and reels (including ice fishing) and general outdoor gear before I retire … while I still have the income I have now.

Not buying the real high-priced stuff. Just solid performing equipment that should be responsive and trouble free down the road.

Have not extended the strategy to firearms quite yet, but most of those were solid the day I purchased them and have stood the test of time.

Thanks for pulling this back on track. The R12 is on my birthday wish list now.

I owned the older Rapala cordless and have used the Bubba cordless.
I’ve owned and used the new R12 for almost 2 years now and have filleted hundreds of walleyes on various trips to Canada for our group.
The new Rapala R12 is the superior knife in my opinion.
