Sweet pics RW. Love watching dogs launch off a dock. Had a Vizsla once that could get about 12 feet going off a dock on retrieve. She loved the water.

Yeah, I have always wanted a dog that would leap off of a dock. I love watching those “Dock Dog” competitions.
He’s gotten a lot more comfortable jumping this year. Last year, he’d always stop first and then jump. Now, he usually stops on the first jump, but after that, he’s all in. I need some nonslip decking to get him some better grip!
July 25, 2019 at 3:34 pm #1869606Great photo, Ryan! He really likes water, doesn’t he? Curious, I’d be worried about dropping my phone into the lake. Do you use a waterproof case or just chance it?
July 25, 2019 at 7:49 pm #1869655Really great pics! That last one looks like he is flying, superdog

Well, I just chance it, but the Galaxy is supposed to be waterproof. Also, I’m about due for an phone upgrade.

June 8, 2020 at 12:29 pm #1948317Wow, what a great shot!! Though we can’t see is face, you can tell Ripley is having the time of his life!
June 8, 2020 at 12:37 pm #1948322My pup just might be a good dock jumper too. At 4 going on 5 months I cant keep her out of the lake and she leaps from shore. The dock is next.
Over the weekend she “discovered” the tennis ball. Something that has been in her presence in abundance her whole life. Now I cant sit down without her begging me to throw it! One tennis ball dog in the family was enough!July 15, 2022 at 6:34 pm #2135591Way to go Ripley.

I’ll get video next time we’re at the cabin. We’ve got a few busy weekends ahead.
July 16, 2022 at 6:40 am #2135654Cool pics! Like the one where you just see the dog and dummy and no water. Its a plane no a bird no it’s Ripley
July 16, 2022 at 8:09 am #2135663Very nice. My dog is a leaper also – one of his favorite things to do.
July 17, 2022 at 10:18 am #2135828Love this. Still love the name, my favorite GSP shared the same name. I believe I have commented on this in the past, but could not help but to do it again.
