    A few photos from a wonderful internship I had last summer with the MN DNR. Most of it was surveying, tagging, and tracking catfish on the Minnesota River.

    Biggest Flatty was 57 pounds. Biggest Chan was only around 17. There really are piles upon piles of Flathead throughout that river.

    That’s fantastic. Got to be a joy to help the very thing you love.

    I wonder how much more successful these type of studies are when experienced fisherman/hunters join in on them. And that would lead to better data which only helps in the long run one would hope for.
