2nd trip out

    Today I scouted out the little lake to see what I could learn. Water temp is mostly 45-46. I spent the first 3 hours searching all over, only catching a straggler here and there. Finally I came across one small area that was loaded with big crappie and had a blast. Water temp there was 49 and the heavy wind was blowing into it. So I’m not sure if they are staging or that happened to be a location with a lot of good food.

    Hey John, ive got a question or two for you if that’s alright. I had just recently moved to Chippewa falls just off lake wissota. i was wondering if you’d like to guide me this winter or show me around the lake?
