I’m posting this boat for my uncle who just won this rig and just took delivery of it.
He has all the paperwork, the sales tax and licensing have been paid, its brand new, has zero hrs, was only pulled from PowerLodge to my place today. The pictures describe the boat pretty well, otherwise you can see the details online.
He’s looking to get rid of it but he doesn’t want to give it away either. PM me if you have interest in it.

More pictures and sales slip. Boat is available today if you or someone you know is interested in this rig. My uncle doesn’t get involved with anything “internet” wise so he threw this in my lap. He already has a similar boat so he doesnt need this one.
Location is near Forest Lake, MN

I’m not quite sure on the price yet, but sticker or close to it is what he was hoping for. I did call Lacannes Marine and Mike there told me that it’s a very popular rig and their dealership has been sold out of this model for a while and the 23’s are going to have a higher MSRP. Whoever gets it will save approx 4k in tax and license fees.

Might want to remind your uncle that if he won the rig I’m pretty sure he needs to claim the sticker price as income for his taxes. Taxes are based on the sticker not on what he accepts for a price.

I bought my ‘21 Competitor 175 from Mike at Lacanne’s. Mine has the Yamaha 115 and is not the FSX. Mine is great. Period. It is great for fishing with 2 people. It’s underpowered for more than 2 people or watersports. The FSX has extras for towing tubers so the 150 is standard for that, plus you get power steering. The price didn’t go up for ‘21 and of course they were sold out in the fall of 2020 (based on available production).
In my experience, Mike is a stand-up guy and I trust his advice. Looking at the invoice I would not dicker over the price. I’d be happy to get it in this economic environment. But be flexible😊

Yes, you are correct. All his winnings are already taxed and recorded as income. His total contribution to the government was approx 38k because he also won a truck that he is keeping.

I have a 22 FSX 185 and am glad I got it when I did after seeing that sticker price. Someone will get a great boat and not have to wait like I did.

I’d say he did OK. Even after the $38K tax hit, he’s going to have a free truck and roughly $10K in his pocket after the sale of the boat.

He won the combo at Grand Casino in Hinkley. His mugshot is on their Facecrack page I believe. Pretty dam lucky of them because they are not frequent flyers there.

Did LaCanne’s make him an offer on it? I traded my old boat there and was blown away by their offer…couldn’t get there fast enough. I’d give ’em a shot if your uncle hasn’t already.

x2 ask the dealerships if they would be interested in buying it. Since they cant get any they would definitely have customers looking and could flip it quickly.
