rumor was correct, a three man limit in two hours today around noon, water temp 51ish and light nuckle ball jigs tipped with crawlers was the ticket for some reason. lol, catching in 5 to 9 fow upper river bypass bridge to stony point toward kmart launch.
October 28, 2021 at 7:02 am #2070391They were definitely on again yesterday. Plastics, bare hair, and fatheads all worked. Went solo and had 27 eyes with three legals by 10:30, VFW to the mouth. Found cooperative fish everywhere. Changed it up to searching for white bass, and had some fun with 15 to 16 inchers after a bit of searching. Kept 10 for a buddy. Called it a day at 2 pm.

Good to see you’re still putting the smack down on the Rock!
November 20, 2021 at 8:28 am #2075190The eyes are still going hot and heavy on the Rock. There was a slight ice-skin near shorelines yesterday when we launched at 7:30, but that was quickly broken up by turbulence from splashing eyes at the net and boat wake. Almost 50 made the boat with 6 legals and a 27.5 inch released. Bait didn’t seem to matter, but I stuck with my secret paddletails and superdoos, while buddy used jig/minnow. Only saw two other boats all day. Water temp was 39, so there should be some more good days ahead.
