Near my house there are two in Newport that would classify as dive bars. Actually that is all the bars in Newport! We visit both from time to time.

Some day I would like to make some but for now I know enough people that do so we always have some on hand.

Ill certainly take note of how dim it gets here today by 2:02 assuming its noticeable. Ill never see a total eclipse.

Puppies are incredibly time consuming and often frustrating. Our last one was a challenge but she pulled through with flying colors.

It will still get dark, then light again!

I miss all the eclipses and earth quakes.(NJ) Keeps me sane.

Cant believe I didnt take a pic but we made navy bean soup yesterday and it is DELICIOUS. Had it for lunch again today. Time to put the spoon down.

It sure has been pumped up lately. Cant imagine why.. We’ll see if it can sustain popularity.

Doing ours today in the crock pot. Brushed with maple syrup then about an inch of 50/50 water and pineapple juice in the bottom. We’ll see.

I soaked the end of the bar in mineral spirits and it still does not move smoothly. I think I got a defective bar or damaged it right out of the gate when new. Ill know once my replacement arrives.

I have no boat with GPS or any GPS devices that apply.

I’m going to clean it up but also buy a spare and back off on the fresh pine. Although I have one that’s must come down soon.

Now I’m feeling melancholy. We were just talking about the old Mpls last night.
The vibrancy of Nicolet mall. The skyways at lunchtime were the epitome of “the place to be”. It was incredible. My wife worked down there for 25 years.
I met her for lunch once in a while and always hated how busy it was but now I know it was a “good” busy.
