Well, I’m obsessed with college ball, so my team played yesterday.

Boise State Broncos, and yep, they won.

Don’t worry guys. Even the 2015 super bowl champs are 1-1.

Twins finally beat the hated Sox.

ST. Louis is marching towards another NL central title.

Dallas… and they won too… go figure. Looks like another middle draft pick and squandering of cap space

Pot stirring this am.? All North teams are 1-1. Last week I bashed the Bears but they responded big time last night. So I’d have to now give them the edge in the division. Detroit, GB, and MN all won games they were supposed to, albeit the Queens did so on the road. GB took a Herculean 2nd half effort to beat the Jets, at home. …..coffee

Talk about a “nothing to see here” weekend. All NFC north teams now have the same record and none of them are playing in a way that inspires confidence.

The Vikes went into the game mentally scrambled and that’s not a good place to be when you’re already an outgunned underdog. Lots of talk about Brady’s age just ended up showing that with age comes experience. He knew what the D was going to do before the D knew what they were going to do. Not good.

I give Zimmer credit for keeping Kassel in there and making him play through it. Putting Bridgewater in would have risked too much for no real gain. People need to be patient and realistic. The Vikes QB woes were never going to just disappear no matter who they drafted.

The Packers managed to claw their way out of a hole that they never should have been in in the first place. I wouldn’t want to make a habit out of making the mistakes the Packers made in the first half because a better team won’t leave the door open and fail to adjust the way the Jets did.

Only a few more weeks until the REAL sport starts. All this football is just something to do until hockey starts.

So after 30 years of sleepwalking through the QB wasteland,my team finally has someone who might be a NFL quality QB.
Then here comes the ankle injury.
    The night keeps getting longer.

So did the Wild control the play? I was en route to DC, but I saw they out shot them by a wide margin. Seems like deja vu from last year.
