Yes that’s a manitoba tag. You didn’t get the number then I take it eh?

with my eye sight NO! Caught this fish south of Moorhead MN.
When I reported mine to them I commented how hard it was to read.
My phone cam makes a good magnifier.
You might want to send them a note just to let them know you caught one that far South even without a tag number.
def. a tag. whether ya got a number or not and not that it matters but catching a tagged fish for whatever reason is pretty cool. caught two walleyes that were tagged in one day and that had me pretty stoked. and jd Winston just curious what ur implying by ur picture? doesn’t seem to make much sense or seem very nice. either way nitram way to go nice cat buddy!
yep sure is a tag. ive seen that on a few fish in other states and yes those numbers are super hard to read even with good eyes and a magnifying glass.
WI/MN tags arent much better to read either
it is really cool gettin the info bak on the fish tho.
i think canada , WI and MN DNR needs to use the tags ive seen on ocean fish
heres one that was on a spinner shark i caught a few wks ago
very easy to read
