Took my dad from ND out. After all my bragging about pool 4 was hoping for some eyes. But other than one small eye, several willing sheepshead and one giant northern not much luck. Still, it was a beautiful day on the river.

    Water temp 55.

    Good luck guys.

Sorry about angle. Maybe an IDO expert can fix.

I think my dad caught that northern a week ago. Was it about 40 inches?

We had about the same luck as you.

I spoke with a couple guys yesterday at Everts.

They had a late start and ended up with 5 keepers, they said they worked for them.

Yup. About 40. Hard to measure as I was trying not to slime my boat.

Well, that fish is hungry! I am glad we let him go so somebody else can have fun. He was a healthy looking brute. I also had thoughts of northern slime all over the boat. I had a stinky jacket to clean as well.

    We let him go too.

I think the same one bit my dad off about a minute before it slammed mine.

    Nice gator!
The past couple years we have been sticking far more Pike than we have in a decade…Some as big as 43-44″
