My husband Billy picked all the remaining apples from our tree today and peeled/cored them before vacuum sealing. He had about 50 apples to do, so rather than peeling them all by hand, he enlisted the help of his power drill with a 1/2″ spade bit. Peeled all of them in no time!! He filled 8 bags of apple slices for the freezer and he makes one heck of an apple pie! D

Ha! Nice idea. We have a crank peeler/corer that makes quick work of them, too.

It was actually a friend’s idea! He had a video of some dude who peeled an inasne amount of apples in like 2 minutes flat! It was amazing. We had a peeler/corer but for the life of us we can’t find it. Oh well. It was old and probably needed sharpening anyway.

Hmmm, not a bad idea. When is the pool 2 gathering, again? I tried looking for a post on it and couldn’t find it.
