    Will there ever be a “view first unread post” like that other fishing site? Or is it here and I am missing seeing it?

    Brian’s correct – it’s in the works. The bbpress “forum” as it were utilizes the wordpress database in a similar manner as a regular blog post. This is fine on smaller forums but we have over 1.2 million rows of data in the posts table here which requires some effort to maintain the indexes and forum/topic/reply relations. Eh.. quite simply makes me want to bang my head on the desk when I think about it. lol D
