The stars finally shined again for me! We were pulling some mid-day plastics in 10-18 FOW in the McGregor Area. The boys and I were putting the smack down on the local crappie population and I widened my trolling to a known walleye location. We were just ahead of the storm and I sunk a ¼ oz. into this pig! Measured 29” and my son Quinn was able to net it for me! Not my longest walleye but had some chunk to her! It was a great end to my endless camping season.

Yeah no doubt, that’s a river walleye from the lake! Nice fish, and great way to make memories with your son!

Very nice fish. Slowly trying to figure out some lake walleyes in the area up there. Biggest problem is getting distracted by the river up there.

Thanks Gents! It sure keeps the dream alive when you catch a nice one.
