Just saw on Ted Takasaki’s Facebook page that there is a new glass tiller from lund. Maybe for 2014? Not sure on any specs but it looks real it’s floating…

There is a prototype photo of a 20′ Lund tiller over on WC today. Lots of speculation, few facts at this point. It seems there may be some truth to this rumor.
August 22, 2013 at 4:27 am #1190874Here it is. I’m gonna check under the sofa cushions for $60,000!
August 22, 2013 at 11:01 am #1190886Sharp looking boat! More information should be out in the weeks to follow. The boat was just shown at the Lund dealer meeting.
Palerider77Posts: 630August 22, 2013 at 2:16 pm #1190937Sweet looking ride! Probably have to be a zillionare to afford it, but Lund’s fishability along with their fit and finish would make this a sweet one.
August 22, 2013 at 2:33 pm #1190944For 60k on a tiller boat I would expect that thing to make me breakfast before I hit my first spot.
August 22, 2013 at 2:40 pm #1190947I just threw out a number, but I’m sure it’s pricey! Make breakfast and clean fish! I have a pro v and really like it but it was nine years old when I bought it!
August 22, 2013 at 3:17 pm #1190961Hopefully in 10 years I can afford a used one.

I have heard some horror stories on the finish work of the fiberglass. Anyone own or have first hand experience on these boats? My old boat was a Lund and I still love the looks of them, just wondering if they have a reputation of great quality or have they had some issues?
August 23, 2013 at 3:51 am #1191119I own a 2010 Lund 208 fiberglass and just about every time a take it out, someone comments that they think it is brand new. No issues with the finish at all – smooth riding boat to say the least!
November 18, 2013 at 1:53 pm #1364749I got my new catalog and went on the website and built one with a 225 verado. MSRP before any options $64,319. I better bump my plans out to 15 years vs the 10 previously stated…
Zach HPosts: 374November 19, 2013 at 3:56 am #1364884I cannot believe how much they get for these boats. I went and added all the bells and whistles I would add if I was to buy this boat. It comes out to be $78,000 dollars. Get real!!

I’m pretty sure that the 225-300 I-6 Verados are NOT going to be offered as tillers, just went thru this with a different Lund/Verado package, neither Lund or Mercury will support that combination, as a “factory” offering. Yes, there are dealers who have created and installed the adaptor bracket, but they are doing it on thier own.

November 19, 2013 at 6:36 pm #1365071I thought I saw they offer the verado option up to 225 the tiller is rated to 250 if you wanted to max it out you would need the opti or have someone else rig it for ya.
Either way I couldn’t afford it with oars…
