I have this shovel and am looking to sell it. I cannot find anything on the internet that has this kind of shovel with information. Has anyone seen one of these? Anyone know what it’s worth? Thanks. Shawn

    I think it’s a cobb shovel.

I think it might be a potato shovel used to dig the potato out of the bins.

I’ve seen a couple of these sold in the shop. Wash lightly to get any crud off the metal and let dry. Use some orange oil to wipe down the metal parts, but don’t attempt polish them. Just oil. Wipe any excess oil off. Leave the wood as is.

If you are selling this, $45.00 – $60.00.

That horse collar. Soap wand water lightly to get crud off, then a light shoe-type oil. Again, if the metal parts are dirty you can wash it lightly but do not try to polish of remove the patina on it. The oil used on the leather can go on the metal too.

If the collar is solid and no major cracks or breaks, $100.00
