Located 6 ft under is perfect. Not too cold and not too hot.

Frosted tree tops, the clean look of a new fallin’ snow, crisp air putting a tingle to exposed skin, the total quietness do to a sound absorbing blanket, it just doesn’t get any better. The colder the more a guy feels alive.
All a person has to do is get of there butt and get out into the weather and find themselves an enjoyable winter hobby. It makes the season fly by much faster than sitting on the inside looking out.

Sounds like talk from a guy that just had to replace a furnace.

Why? Did the last guy out forget to turn off the light and you drew the short straw to go do it?

After today I see 2, count’em, 2 days with highs in the 30s in the 15 day forecast from Accuweather. Of course a 15 days forecast this time of year isn’t worth the monitor it is displayed on, but still.

By the way I also see about 10 more inches of forecasted snow in that period of time.

The problem with 4 more weeks of cold Bret is that in 4 weeks the sun’s energy will be even stronger. If we get a few really warm days like that we are really going to see some flooding.

The ice on the trees here is unbelieveable. I have several birch trees in the yard that are probably done. Tops broke off, the ones that are not broken are bent way over, touching the ground. Many people have large, like 6 inch across or larger limbs broken out of soft maple trees. They have been like this since Sunday.
