At least that is what the DNR email said and I don’t see a later expiration date on my license. If this is true, why do they keep changing it? Personally I like it expiring when Pike/Walleye etc closes for spring.

I just looked, and lo and behold they finally took the later date off of them!

I looked too after seeing the email.

Although extremely faded, i believe it says:
    Expires 3/1/2014.

Last weekend a CO while out checking license stated a reminder that they expire at the end of February this year. I would imagine a person could buy the 2014 license already.

    Thanks for Reminder

    Thanks for the reminder.

I don’t understand why they flip flop back and forth on this. The last few years it expired in April.

I asked about that last spring.

It had something to do with the legislature. I didn’t really pay attention to what.

Probably to confuse us all and write tickets for people whos license has expired.

A couple years ago A CO was checking everyone right after the license expired. There were a couple people who forgot that theirs have expired he was nice enough to let them run down to the store and buy one and not give them a ticket!
