Flashing envelope

    Not that I have all that many people talking to me, but I really miss the little flashing envelope that tells me I have a PM waiting. Is this something the powers can fix?? thanks- – -jerr

    You have to been friends with a person first to send messages.

    Click on your username or avatar depending on device, located top right, or where associated with one of your posts in the forums. Then click on messages. I believe the rest will be self explanatory at that point. Just remember that only ‘friends’ can exchange messages on the site as a way to eliminate spam. So send a friend request to anyone you want to message first.

    A question not PM related but not worthy of it’s own thread.

    I kind of miss seeing the location below the member’s name. It was helpful when people were talking about a fishing area, but didn’t actually specify where they’re at. Any chance that will return? Or will we have to click into their profile.

    Once the msg indicator icon is available I plan on turning off email notification.
