A nice walleye sized bait

    Here’s a nice lizard bait that’s not too bulky but not a lightweight either. At 4.5″ is will fish pretty nice on lighter heads and doesn’t have a lot of water resistance. Lizard baits of this size have been used very successfully at the dams on the Mississippi in the past and they probably resemble a mud-puppy to walleyes looking for an evening meal along shallower water.

    Oh ya. This guy has a 7.5″ cousin that was developed for largies.

    Here a quote from a 2008 post…

    Many years ago the Lindners sure put the hurt on walleyes in the Red Wing area during the winter using lizard baits.
