    This is my first documented 25 lb carp(25.6). I may have hit this mark in the past but this is the first one I’ve actually been able to weigh. One hell of a battle! It’s not the best picture but it’s enough to silence my trash talking buddies, lol.

    This is my daughter before she turned 3! She loves redhorse fishing. She reeled this shorthead in by herself.

    My first carp of the year. 28″. Forgot the bait at home, doah, luckily I was hungry and got a brat at SA and saved some for the boat. First brat fish for me….

    Close out the open season with some carp!!! Aghh crazy

    Went to hit my eye spot that gets hot right before the river freezes up, and the carp were on fire. Jig and plastic, all hammered it. There was fish surfacing everywhere, it was quite extraordinary for this time of year. Caught a couple of these, my first smallmouth buffalo, then had a tank on and tightened the drag to just get it done so I could move and catch an eye, popped off. Fun night.

    Haha. I have also had a big carp slam a jig/plastic late fall. Sure beats a walleye fight!!

    Caught in 2015 but still a very under utilized fish! Can’t wait to get after ’em this season
